EDSTRACO, Sweden, is the former metal
department of Edström Trading Co. Since 1967 we have operated as Edstraco AB. Owner (100%) and
managing director is Peter Håkansson. Peter has worked in the company since 1968. Our main business is to
import special metals and alloys. We buy world-wide and sell mainly within Scandinavia. Deliveries are arranged
door-to-door or from our own stock. During the years we have established a network of competent suppliers being capaple of meeting up-to-date quality standards and "just-in time". With a certain portion of proudness we have to
admit that our ability to source inquired products - even the odd shapes - and rapidly supply to the clients, is our major marketing advantage. The dominating metal in our marketing is titanium. We do sell titanium in the four available C.P. -grades and the common alloys (grade 5, 7, 9, 11 and 12). Other major metals handled by us are gallium, indium, molybdenum, niobium, tantalum, tungsten and zirconium. We also sell bismuth, boron, cobalt, germanium, hafnium, rhenium and vanadium. Special alloys are: copperalloys, nickelalloys, tantalumalloys, tungstenalloys, tungsten-base heavy metals. We supply all shapes like sheets, plates, wire, bars, tubes, pipes, fittings, powder, fasteners and custom fitted items. Our specialities are corrosion resistant fasteners (titanium, nickelalloys, zirconium, tantalum and duplex steel), anodizing racks, anode baskets, cooling- and heating coils in titanium for metal finishing industries, pistons in copperalloys for high pressure die casters and for electrodes for resistance welding, alloys with low melting point, ultra thin foil and wowen wire mesh in rolls or cut to shape.
